Moon Men Cocktail Bar is at 4th Floor, 3 Au Trieu Street, Hang Trong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, in the Old Quarter, looking straight onto the cathedral through our windows. We open daily at 5:00 PM, and happy hour runs from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (150,000 VND on selected cocktails).
Where we are and how to get up
- Address: 4th Floor, 3 Au Trieu Street, Hang Trong Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi — in the Hanoi Old Quarter, directly across from St. Joseph's Cathedral.
- Getting up: look for the Mien+ entrance at street level and take the elevator to the 4th floor. Moon Men shares the building with Miên Man Cafe.
- Parking: There is plenty of room to park a car right next to the building. Our ground-floor reception will show you where to park your motorbike.
- Nearby: Hoan Kiem Lake is about a 5 min walk away.

Which seats face the cathedral?
Every table is indoors on the 4th floor — there is no outdoor seating. Large windows look straight across at St. Joseph's Cathedral.
- Carpet floor and glass floor: these face the cathedral, mostly with sofas.
- Bar counter: faces the bartenders rather than the cathedral.
If the view matters to you, book ahead and ask for the carpet or glass floor.
When is the best time to come for the view?
- From 5:00 PM: we open at 5:00 PM, so you can watch the cathedral in the golden hour as daylight fades — during happy hour (5:00 PM–8:00 PM). Sunset in Hanoi moves through the year.
- Until 8:00 PM: the cathedral is lit until 8:00 PM, the same time happy hour ends.
- Weekends and holidays are busier, so we recommend booking.
